Individual and collective power can drive real environmental progress. \nYou are welcome to participate in: \n\nOur virtual Earth Day learning session\nOur community clean‑up day\nOr both events\n\nEarth Day Virtual Session (Online)\n📅 April 22\, 2026  \n🕘 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM \n💻 Online – Microsoft Teams | Free to Attend \nJoin our virtual Earth Day session focused on plastic pollution and litter clean‑up efforts in Toronto and how these issues affect our urban forests\, local ecosystems\, and community well‑being. \nWhat we’ll cover:\n\nPlastic pollution and litter challenges in Toronto\nImpacts on urban forests\, green spaces\, and wildlife\nCommunity‑led clean‑up initiatives\nHow residents can come together to create local change\n\nThis session is ideal for anyone who wants to learn\, participate from home\, or prepare to take action in their community. \nREGISTER NOW \nCommunity Clean‑Up Day (In Person)\n📅 April 25\, 2026\n🕘 Starting at 9:00 AM\n📍 Meeting point: 440 Cook Rd\, North York\, ON M3J 0A1 \nAs part of the City of Toronto Community Clean‑Up\, community members will come together to remove litter and help protect local green spaces and urban forests. \nWe will be carrying out a community cleanup along the Black Creek community forest parkland border\, starting from Fred Young Park and continuing down to the area bordering 500 Murray Ross Parkway Apartments. Our cleanup will also cover the green space beside the building and the Sentinel Rd / Finch Corridor Trail.\nThis activity is part of our effort to keep our shared spaces clean\, safe\, and welcoming for everyone. If you’re joining us\, please wear comfortable shoes and bring gloves if you have them.
