Ulrich Stephane Tchiegdjo Tamo<\/strong>\u00a0is an environmental leader and educator with over eight years of experience advancing climate action, ecological restoration, and community\u2011based sustainability across Canada and internationally. He is the founder and Executive Director of Environmental Education for a Better Earth (EEFABE), a UNEP\u2011accredited charity focused on environmental protection, pollution reduction, and climate change education.<\/p>\n

Ulrich\u2019s work spans ecosystem restoration, youth climate leadership, and public environmental education. He has contributed to global environmental processes through the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), including the UNEA Major Groups and the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on plastic pollution. He also engages in environmental policy development through the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN).<\/p>\n

In Canada, Ulrich integrates scientific fieldwork with community engagement as a Field Researcher and Environmental Outreach Specialist. He is trained as a\u00a0Ravine Champion<\/strong>\u00a0by Park People Canada, focusing on urban ecological restoration and stewardship; a\u00a0Roots to Resilience Champion<\/strong> through Black Creek Community\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Farm\u2019s Market Garden program, emphasizing food security, soil health, and community resilience in this rapidly changing climate; and a\u00a0Forest Pathways trainee<\/strong> with Outward Bound Canada, where he developed skills in outdoor leadership, ecological awareness, and nature\u2011based education.<\/p>\n

His past leadership includes serving as Cameroon Country Lead for the African Climate Reality Project, contributing to UNESCO and MECCE\u2019s Climate Change Education country profile, and coordinating youth\u2011focused climate advocacy networks. Ulrich has designed environmental curricula, led volunteer teams, and implemented nature\u2011based solutions such as urban gardens, tree planting, and community restoration projects.<\/p>\n

Fluent in English and French, Ulrich brings expertise in environmental science, GIS, data analysis, and digital collaboration. He is a Climate Reality Leader, a member of The Queen\u2019s Commonwealth Trust, and a Neighbourhood Climate Action Champion with the City of Toronto.
