Environmental Education for a Better Earth Canada

The Global Environmental Delegation Fund supports delegates from Canada and Africa participating in COP17 and other major international environmental policy forums.
The world’s most important environmental decisions are made at international forums where governments, experts, civil society organizations, and communities come together to shape global policy. Yet many voices, particularly from developing regions most affected by environmental challenges, often face financial barriers to participation.
This campaign aims to support a joint delegation from Environmental Education for a Better Earth (EEFABE) Canada and our African branch, EEFABE Cameroon, to participate in the Global Framework on Chemicals International Conference (GFC IC1) in Geneva, Switzerland, and the CBD COP17 in Yerevan, Armenia.
By bringing together delegates from Canada and Africa, we can strengthen international collaboration and ensure that environmental discussions benefit from diverse regional perspectives. Communities in Africa and Canada face different environmental realities, but share many common challenges, including biodiversity loss, pollution, climate impacts, and sustainable resource management.
Funds raised will help cover:
These conferences will address critical global priorities, including biodiversity conservation, chemical pollution, corporate environmental accountability, and implementation of international sustainability commitments. Decisions made at these meetings can influence environmental policies, funding priorities, and development initiatives around the world.
Your donation helps ensure that delegates from both Canada and Cameroon can contribute to these conversations, share local experiences, build international partnerships, and bring valuable knowledge back to the communities they serve.
Whether you contribute $20, $200, or $2,000, your support advances inclusive global participation and helps amplify independent voices in international environmental governance.
Together, we can create a stronger bridge between communities, continents, and solutions for a healthier planet.
Donate today and help send our Canadian and African delegation to represent community-driven environmental leadership on the global stage.
