At Environmental Education for a Better Earth Canada, advocacy is at the core of our mission. We believe that raising awareness, influencing policies, and empowering communities, especially young people, are crucial steps in addressing climate change, environmental management, and sustainable development.
Through our advocacy campaigns, we work to ensure that individuals, communities, and policymakers take urgent action to protect our planet. Here’s why our advocacy efforts matter.

• Young people are the future leaders of environmental change. However, they are often excluded from important policy discussions. Amplifying youth voices in climate action and environmental policies is our core focus.
• Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time, yet many people lack access to reliable information about its causes, impacts, and solutions. Educating communities on the science behind climate change and its local effects is adamant.
• The way we manage our natural resources determines the health of our environment. Improper waste disposal, deforestation, and pollution threaten biodiversity and ecosystem balance.
• Environmental issues affect everyone, but not all communities have the knowledge or resources to take action. Sensitizing individuals on their role in environmental conservation is crucial.
