🚴🌿 Pedal to Nature: Community Cycling for Climate Action & Ecological Awareness

Learn to Ride. Explore Nature. Take Climate Action.

Looking for a fun, healthy, and meaningful way to spend time outdoors this summer?

Join Pedal to Nature, a free community cycling and environmental education program designed to help youth, families, and adults build cycling confidence, connect with nature, and take climate action in their daily lives.

Delivered by a Neighbourhood Climate Action Champion in partnership with the registered charity Environmental Education for a Better Earth Canada (EEFABE Canada), Pedal to Nature combines bicycle skills training, guided nature rides, and environmental learning experiences that encourage active transportation and environmental stewardship.

Why Pedal to Nature?

Cycling is one of the simplest ways individuals can reduce transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions while improving health and well-being.

Through this program, participants will:

  • Develop safe cycling skills and confidence
  • Learn about local ecosystems, wildlife, rivers, and pollinators
  • Explore Toronto’s beautiful trail systems and green spaces
  • Connect climate action with everyday transportation choices
  • Meet neighbours and enjoy outdoor recreation
  • Develop a greater appreciation for nature and environmental stewardship
